New play equipment at Lothian Gardens

Following the engagement with Melbourne Infant school and with Puddleducks, the parish council is pleased to inform that a funding bid was made to SDDC  and that we have received a grant of £17,500.  The parish council will match fund this to spend a total of £35,000 on new toddler play equipment at Lothian Gardens.

A final site meeting was held with the contractors on 3rd September.  An order has been placed and work is anticipated to commence within 9 weeks, the equipment ordered is shown in an image below as provided by the contractor Proludic.

A new bench for the toddler area will also be installed, with the help of £500 from Cllr Chilton's Community Fund.

The parish council is grateful for the support from the public not only in providing evidence and suggestions for the new equipment, but we are also grateful and appreciative of  your support, your patience and understanding during this time.
